Poppy’s Picnic and DOGHOUSE Raise Donations for Dogs For Good

In the spirit of Dogtober, Poppy's Picnic and the DOGHOUSE joined paws by holding a fundraising event together to raise donations for Dogs For Good 🐶❤️

We are proud to say that we have raised a great amount by selling specially made doggie ‘pupcakes’, ‘puppaccinos’ and raffle tickets - hoorah! The money raised will be directly donated to Dogs for Good’s ‘Dogtober’ campaign which supports the charity's life-changing work in training dogs to assist people with health conditions such as autism, dementia and learning disabilities.

Our top raffle prize was a huge hit as the winner will get their hands and paws on exciting goodies including:

  • 1 x Poppy's Picnic award-winning 16 pack Popular Hamper
  • 1 x DOGHOUSE special Full Body Groom
  • 1 x box of DOGHOUSE's doggie toys and treats
  • 1 x consultation worth £150 with Canine Nutritionist, Anna Webb
  • 1 x bottle of Champagne for the pup parents

We were keen to raise funds for the wonderful charity again for the second time as we strongly believe in their cause, and it was great to have Ruth and the entire DOGHOUSE team to help us bring the event to life!

The DOGHOUSE has been stocking Poppy’s Picnic raw dog food for over a year. Since donating to mark Mental Health Awareness Week earlier this year, we’ve closely followed the work of Dogs for Good and have been keen to raise further funds. Involving the local community seemed like a great idea and we immediately thought of DOGHOUSE which is more than just a shop, it’s a lively destination what with its cafe and facilities.

Thank you to everyone who popped down to the DOGHOUSE and got involved! It was lovely to meet more of our two and four-legged friends and we hope to support more charitable causes in the future 😊

We do appreciate that not all of you could have been at the event, but don’t worry, you can still make a difference by making a direct online donation to Dogs For Good here.

Much love to you all,

The Poppy's Picnic Team x
