What we collect
The type of information we will collect about you includes name and email address. We do not collect or store your credit/debit card details. If you use a credit card to purchase from us the credit card details are handled separately by our payment partner, such as Stripe. Additional details such as location, preferences and interests may also be collected.

- Contractually, process your order and contact you regarding your order should this be necessary, for example for queries or complaints. Without this we would be unable to deliver your order or contact you should there be any processing or delivery issues.
- Contact you occasionally regarding news, products and promotions by email where you are a customer, or have given permission.
Disclosure to third parties
Poppy's Picnic will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes, nor any other reasons unless we are required to do so by law. Where any third party processors have access to your data on our behalf (e.g. an email platform, such as ActiveCampaign), these comply with GDPR legislation.
Data is transferred to outside the EEA through our use of ActiveCampaign for direct marketing. This does not affect your rights as ActiveCampaign holds certification for both the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield, meeting GDPR standards.
Data in Marketing
Poppy's Picnic [Four Legs Are Better Than Two Ltd] will use your data for marketing purposes where you are a customer or consent has been given. You can opt out of receiving these communications at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link within any of our email campaigns. You can also opt out by sending us an email to email@example.com with your details and we will process this for you. We will keep your data for three years unless you have bought from us again, and will then ask if you still want to keep hearing from us.

You may request a copy of the personal details we hold on you by emailing or writing to us. Other than where we have a legal obligation to retain it, you may also exercise your right to have your data deleted by emailing or writing to us at the email@example.com.
