Hadrian's wall is a huge Roman wall, stretching 80 miles (120 km) from the Solway Coast in Cumbria to Wallsend near Newcastle upon Tyne. It's home to an array of wildlife and nature with several walking routes that are perfect for dogs who need plenty of exercise. The Sycamore Gap walk starts at the visitor centre and lets you see the Roman Fort before immersing you into the wilderness and history along the wall.

Escaping the bustle of the city to find some tranquility in the park can be the best way to unwind after a busy week.
