Our Ingredients

Our quality meat comes from accredited farms, sourced locally where possible. We buy grass-fed beef and lamb, outdoor-reared pork, wild venison and boar. We also use free-range chicken, turkey and duck (or barn-raised when government restrictions on free ranging birds are in force).  All our meat is simply mixed with the other ingredients before being quickly frozen to retain its goodness.

In the wild, much of a carnivore’s nutrition comes from bones. As in the wild, the bones your dog or cat eats must ALWAYS be uncooked (cooked bones are brittle and splinter). Our grinding plate is 8mm, and even finer for our Puppy Power range, so the meals we produce are suitable for all ages and sizes

Heart and offal are a vital source of nutrients. We add heart, liver and kidney to our meals as they contain essential minerals and vitamins. Do not confuse these with 'meat derivatives' which is something entirely different (usually found in the ingredient list of processed dog and cat food) and you won't find in any of our meals

We only use locally grown, dog-friendly vegetables such as curly kale and cauliflower in our meals. And when we say local, we can actually see them growing in fields outside our Wiltshire HQ. For a complete BARF model diet, veg is a vital addition, adding fibre and a host of essential vitamins and minerals not present in meat

Helps to support immunity and metabolism. Contains chlorophyll, vitamins A, C and E, iron, calcium and magnesium.

Supports the immune system. Is rich in nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants and essential amino acids. Spirulina is also excellent for supporting the immune system.

Sea kelp contains an abundance of vitamins, minerals, proteins and enzymes which can help maintain optimum coat and skin condition, healthy gums, and support the immune system

Increasingly regarded for its health potential, coconut oil contains high levels of antioxidants

Rich in omega-3, flaxseed oil can support heart function, calmer moods, skin and hair

A rich source of healthy polyunsaturated fats, sesame oil helps to retain flexibility within the joints
