We are over the moon that Poppy’s Picnic has been shortlisted for Entrepreneurs' Team of the Year (South West Region) at this year's NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA).

The NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards acknowledges the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses across the United Kingdom. We entered the Team of the Year category because, as The GBEA team say themselves, '“No man is an island” and, despite what many people would think, no entrepreneur is an island either' - that couldn't be more true in my experience. 

I rely on my team, from the wonderful VIP (Very Important Paws) Team answering your customer queries, to our butchers, marketeers and operations team, to be able to deliver you and your dogs' award-winning food.  

This shortlisting means a great deal, and we wouldn't have been recognised without the support of our wonderful customers who have supported us over the past two and a half years, so THANK YOU for the part you, and your four-legged friends have played in our success. You are all part of our wider team.

To be recognised has given us all a real boost, and we're also incredibly proud to be representing the South West. First we will take on the regional final and then who knows, with any luck we might go on to represent the South West at the national final!
